Anonymous: an express opened up recently in my area, would you recommend to other to work there? what are the perks of your job?

How exciting! I love Express. When you first work there, it’s hard to get used to product knowledge which makes it hard for you to help customers in finding what they are shopping for. Express is not like any other retail store where you can just sit back and slack off - it takes hard work and energy.  If you’re the type of person who loves that kind of rush and high expectation, I sure do recommend you to work there :) Perks of my job…. I’m actually a “fashion expert” at Express, managers depend on you to be extra hard workers in keeping the numbers up and they depend on you to train new associates etc. Fashion Experts have their own meetings and have more responsibility to the store’s goals.  If they notice you’re a good seller as a sales associate - you become a potential fashion expert. Good luck!

Anonymous: what camera do you use?

I use a Canon Powershot SD940 IS. Nothing special…just a point and shoot!

I’m not a big book reader… but one that really hit me was Tuesdays With Morrie. OLD, I know!
